Stuck at launching Dota 2

After I set all the mods that I want and launch Dota 2, it gets stuck on a black screen and on the task manager it says "not responding" I cant force close it without the help of the task manager, and I had to re-install Dota 2 to actually play again. What am I doing wrong here? Please help

I thought it might get fixed in this new update but I was wrong.
